Steve West served as the Vice President of Alcatel-Lucent’s Emerging Technology and Innovation Group where he led the ng Connect Program.  Steve was also an Alcatel-Lucent lead on numerous industry endeavors driving the evolution of digital media, such as the Digital Entertainment Content Eco-system (DECE) and holds a board member position at the Entertainment Technology Center at USC.  Before Alcatel-Lucent, Mr. West led product development for a vibrant start-up, iMagicTV, which brought IPTV into the global market.  Prior to iMagicTV, he was responsible for the world’s first commercial launch of a consumer mass market broadband video/IPTV service at Aliant Telecom, Atlantic Canada’s largest telecom service provider.  Mr. West holds a Diploma in Marketing and International business from St. Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and a Diploma in Electronic Engineering Technology.
