R360 Joins ng Connect Program to Create New Communications Applications for Next Generation Networks

Unified Communications innovator to create new user experiences from desktop to mobile devices over LTE and 4G networks

Cyprus – October 7, 2009 The R Technologies Group of Companies today announced the participation of its business unit R360 in the ng Connect Program, a new multi-industry initiative which is driving the development of next generation broadband services based on Long Term Evolution (LTE) and other ultra high bandwidth technologies. These next generation services will help support the growing demands for high performance hosted collaboration tools and applications supported by the company’s popular Unified Communications platform.

R360 allows people to socialize, work and communicate through its Cloud Computing-based Software as a Service Platform which offers access to data, contacts, shared files and other services. Working with the ng Connect Program, R360 will help bring new unified based communications solutions to market which leverage the capabilities of LTE and 4G networks.

As part of the ng Connect Program, R360 makes its coRe™ service delivery platform and evolving R360 product suite available to the ng Connect ecosystem partners. coRe is a highly secure Cloud Computing based service delivery platform that allows service providers and other companies to build and deliver integrated and synchronized PC, Web and mobile services on any device and operating platform. coRe is the first truly contextual internet operating system built from ground up to address the scaling and security requirements for the Web2.0 world. The R360.com service delivers a secure, unified communications environment that blends the best of personal and professional productivity tools.

“We’re excited to team up with the ng Connect Program and look forward to sharing and learning from its innovative members. We are eager to participate with Alcatel-Lucent and the ng Connect team members in delivering advanced high performance services which leverage the emerging next generation mobile broadband networks,” said Steve van Zutphen, R360 CEO.

"The ng Connect Program members look forward to working with R360 to create innovative user experiences for businesses and individuals which help them better leverage their devices, networks and applications,” said Derek Kuhn, Vice President of Emerging Technology and Media at Alcatel-Lucent, a founding member of the ng Connect Program.
