Kabillion joins ng Connect Program to Create New Multi-Media Experiences for Children in Next Generation Networks
Award-Winning children’s Multi-Platform Network to work with program members to develop new content for kids over LTE and 4G networks
LOS ANGELES – October 7, 2009 — Kabillion, the Emmy Award-winning multi-platform network for kids, today announced its participation in the ng Connect Program, a new multi-industry initiative which is driving the development of next generation broadband services based on Long Term Evolution (LTE) and other ultra-high bandwidth technologies. These next generation services will help support the growing demands on the company’s popular Video on Demand platform, interactive online games and virtual chat rooms that entertain kids ages six to 12.
Kabillion provides an avenue for kids to engage with brands in a wholly unique way, while exploring what the world of technology has to offer. This mega-entertainment online portal allows kids to explore their digital interests, whether they are playing games, watching video or using their imagination to create their own personal avatars. As the range of interactive, bandwidth intensive content continues to grow, next generation networks will be needed deliver the performance required to create a high quality user experience.
